About: Located along southeastern Virginia’s beautiful waterfront, Hampton University’s historic landmarks include the Emancipation Oak and the nation’s oldest African-American museum.  Unique research projects, study abroad and access to the world’s foremost scholars, experts and artists also offer extra dimensions to Hampton’s learning environment. The University offers its 5,700 students innovative course work and 52 bachelor’s degrees; 14 master’s degrees; the Ph.D. in nursing, physics, atmospheric and planetary sciences; DPT in Physical Therapy and the Pharm.D. in pharmacy.
