About: The Florida A&M University College of Law was re-established in 2002 in downtown Orlando as the only public law school in Central Florida. The College of Law’s rich tradition of excellence dates back to its original founding in 1949 on the main campus of Florida A&M University, a historically black university in the capital city of Tallahassee. The College of Law offers a quality legal education at an affordable price, state-of-the art facilities, and has been nationally recognized for its diverse student body and its clinical programs. Students may choose to enroll in either the full-time day program (three years) or the part-time evening program (four years). The FAMU College of Law has been fully accredited by the American Bar Association since July 2009 and has a current student body enrollment of over 600 students.
