Dillard University

About: Founded in 1869, Dillard University is located on 55 acres in a residential suburb of New Orleans. Students are surrounded by stunning oak trees, known to alumni as the “Avenue of the Oaks.” Beautiful white buildings, many recently renovated, and sweeping green lawns create a picture-perfect collegiate environment. A new student union, recreation, health and wellness center, as well as a professional schools building are under construction. Both will be Leadership in Energy and Environment Design (LEED) certified, making them environmentally friendly buildings for future students.
